The video we watched last week mentioned that not only adults have vision about the future, but also children do. When i was a little kid, i always imagined the picture that i had my own grocery store. Back to the time when i was a fourth grade elementary student, i had a friend whose family was running a very small grocery store in the village we lived. I remember that i spent a lot of weekends in their store. Till today, having a grocery store is still one of the things i want to do most. I know in many people's eyes, it is not the kind of very big vision for a young person. I received many discouragements but the vision of running a grocery store is still the scene i imagine the most in my mind.
The other goal i want to achieve is to become a CPA. Before i chose Accounting as my major i already knew that i would do pretty well in Accounting. Because i know i am a good rule follower and i am pretty good at detail oriented works. As we all know that it takes time to become a CPA. I think there are two important things i need to focus on. One is gaining my experience in accounting jobs; the other is to know some people who is also plan accounting as their career because in the future these people may become my business partners.
My third goal is about my personal life. In my culture, children can also be very stressed because our parents always put too much expectation on our kids. They always want us to follow the path as they expect. If i have kids in the future, i hope i could be a democratic parent. I think many American parents are good examples to learn. I like the way they treat their kids as their friends.
I think your grocery store vision is wonderful! I remember as a child being captivated by our small local store, so I understand where the feeling comes from. Good luck to you!

I like your last vision, because i really like how American parents treat their children, i think if Asian have a democratic family that will have a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteI like your first goal because I have a similar goal to yours, which is a plan of opening a bakery in future. Actually, to open a grocery store is my second choice if I am not going to open a bakery. I like work in a casual and stress-free environment because of my personality. I can adjust my own working rhythm and no one is going to give me any order and assignment. So, owning a grocery is a good choice.
